This large driveway gate is in the direct sightline of another gate that these clients had commissioned a few years prior. The two gates needed to compliment one another, but because the bottom of the driveway gate has a significant slope to it, which I did not want to call attention to, I decided not to use any horizontal lines. Sometimes a car is parked behind this area but more often it is used by people, so a pedestrian gate was incorporated into the design for quick access. The clients tell me that this gate gets a lot of compliments.
